sorry to bother you, but I am stuck on at some point with my Maya installation.
It works on my sys I installed under a 10.04 and upgraded to a 10.10, but when I installed from scratch my Maya 2011 sp1 on a 10.10, I have an error when I start maya…
“/usr/autodesk/maya2011-x64/bin/maya.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”
I am screwed…
So you know from where it comes ?

First, I’m sorry that I’m posting here about my problem instead mailing you. But I couldn’t get your mail ID.
I’ve installed maya 2011 in Ubuntu 10.10. Maya/Composite/MatchMover work fine. But my problem with Mental Ray. No mental ray materials are showing in attribute editor. in hypershade, if I select a mental ray material (except, lights,volumes etc.), maya crashes with error, “call to undeclared function “mib_light_point”.
I’ve installed Maya 2011, hotfix1, hotfix3 and even SP1. but nothing solves it. can you help me please?

ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.6
